
We hope that you will not have to cancel your reservation
but it is important to understand the need for our policy.
Unlike hotels, with hundreds of rooms, we do not overbook.
Therefore, we need ample time to rebook your reservation
should you need to cancel. The need for this policy is very
important for the success of our Guest House. We hope you
understand.
POLICIES AND CANCELLATION
INFORMATION
Once you have made a reservation, you have agreed to the
Cancellation Policy listed below. You have agreed you will
pay for all services, reservations and applicable taxes
that you, or those using your credit card, have ordered.
There can be no weddings, events or parties at the Guest
House without written consent of the property owner.
You agree that you are of legal age to enter into this
agreement. You also agree that all the information you have
furnished to Oceanview Guest House is true and accurate.
The property owner reserves the right to inspect the property
at any time for any damage, Pets or Extra Persons. You agree
any Extra Persons staying at the property will be billed
to your credit card at the published rate. You agree any
Loss or Damage to the property will be billed to your credit
card at the owner’s discretion. All prices and amenities
are subject to change without notice.
Following your reservation, you will receive by mail, fax
or e-mail:
- A letter of confirmation
- Directions to the Guest House
- Key pick-up information
- Other pertinent information pertaining to the Guest
House
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Travellers Cheques and Money
Orders. We will accept company cheque, but it must be in
our hands no later than 7 days before your arrival date.
All rates are listed in Canadian Dollars. Currency exchange
rates are given at that day’s current posted rate.
CANCELLATION CHARGES
You will need to hold your reservation with a credit card
to guarantee it. No refunds are available for early
departures. We are not able to give refunds due to last minute
cancellations.

In other words, if you cancel 7 days or more before your
arrival date, there will be no charge.
If you cancel 7 days or less prior to the arrival date
of your confirmed reservation, you will be charged 50% of
your total stay. And if there is a no show, you will
be charge the full amount of your total stay.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Kitchen Cleaning: We have a fully equipped
kitchen with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, coffee pot, etc.
It is your responsibility to clean up the kitchen after
each use. You agree that failure to clean all dishes used
during your stay will result in an additional charge of
$15 for housekeeping to clean up.
